Once upon a time black women would be ashamed to go out in public with their natural kinky curls.  We treated out natural hair as if it was scandalous to walk out the house without our hair being bone permed straight.  We spent so many years and so much money going from jheri curls to the S-curl, to perms.  It didn’t matter that our hair was unhealthy, over processed, and stripped away of their natural chemicals we refused to have natural curls.

Well ladies I’m am here to tell you that I am in absolutely positively in love with my natural hair.  I can do several things with my hair.  Since I’ve become natural I’m able to be more versatile with styling my hair and the products I’m able to use.  I can wash-n-go, twist up and twist out, blow out, straighten and so much more.

I want those of you that are in your transitional stage to know that there is no need to transition.  Free yourself of the hassle.  JUST DO IT!  Save yourself the money and time you spend sitting getting the weaves because you’re not ready to go natural.  I will share my routine that helps me.  The products that I have found that works for me AND you.  I promise you can’t go wrong with these products.  They will enhance the moisture your hair needs and never leave it looking brittle or feeling crunchy as well as define your curl pattern.  You can even use them all together and not have to worry about any flaking!  My goal is to hopefully prevent you from becoming a product junky that I once was and save you a few dollars while I’m at it!

First I’ll share with you my shampoo and conditioner by One ‘n Only Argan Oil Moisture Repair Shampoo.  I also use the One ‘n Only Argan Oil Moisture Repair Conditioner and the Restoration Mask when I want to do a deep conditioner.  I live by these products.  I often dye my hair because I like to think that I AM my hair so with me being full of personality and outgoing I need my hair to say the same.  But anyway these products are excellent when you want to protect your color and damage control.  I haven’t found any other shampoo that hydrates my hair and leaves it soft and detangles without even using a comb.  I have been using this product for about a year now and haven’t had any negative results.  I also use the One ‘n Only Argan Oil Treatment to stop frizz or as a protectant if I wanna straighten my hair at home.

I love Cantu Butter.  I don’t have to do much with this product either.  It hydrates my hair and leaves my curls soft and defined.  I also use this product if I want to coil my hair.  I have little to no frizz when picking out the coils.

Now when I’m lazy and just wanna pull it back in a puff and don’t feel like messing it my hair much; yeah I know we all have one of those days but don’t fret because I got something for that too boo boo! Creme of Nature Argan Oil Foam.  I like this product because even if I don’t wet my hair I can just put this foam on and go about my day and my curls are still giving you the business.

Last but not least I use Shea Moisture Organic Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie.  Now this product is awesome.  I put this in my hair after I co wash and shingle and GO!  When my hair dries my curls are to DIE for!  I mean you can’t tell me my hair isn’t cute because I know you’d only be hating.  Not only are my curls poppin.com but it also smells amazingly delicious.  It has a thick consistency which holds the curls in place and prevents frizz.  Its amazing how it really does enhance your curls.  I mean they are soft, smooth, hydrated, and frizz-less.  So if you’re like me and when you two strand twist your hair it always ends up with frizz when pulling them apart…then this product should be your best friend.

So there you have it.  These products are guaranteed to work for you.  Try it out for yourself.  Depending what you are willing to spend, the products can be a little expensive but they will last you a while. So if you have any questions or concerns be sure to comment and ask questions.
